Replace Russia/Communist with New World Order and you have a description of the place where the USA has arrived. Robert Welch, founder of the John Birch Society, gave a monumental speech in 1958 about the decline of America due to Communism and Cultural Marxism. According to Wikipedia, the John Birch Society” is an American right-wing political advocacy group. Founded in 1958, it is anti-communist, supports social conservatism, and is associated with ultraconservative, radical right, far-right, right-wing populist, and right-wing libertarian ideas.” It is loathed and vilified by the Left.
The speech is spot-on except, Welsh underestimated the leadership coming down the pike from Reagan and Thatcher which shattered the Soviet Union. It is obvious that some other force picked up the reins. Because his description of our collapse is spot-on and terrifying.
